Gilda’s Club is hosting a drive-by Parade of Hope to celebrate cancer survivors and their loved ones. Cancer survivors and their supporters are invited don their cancer ribbon color, decorate their car and parade through our parking lot. Once they arrive at the survivors’ tent, they’ll be given a survivor sign, swag, and treats. We’ll also have a Ribbon Trail in front of the Clubhouse along Vogel Road.

Anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer and those who want to support cancer survivors by driving by to honk and cheer should make plans to attend!

June 7th is National Cancer Survivor Day and we are celebrating it in the Tri-State. Our purpose is to honor and encourage cancer survivors and those who care for them, while respecting the need to physically distance to protect the health of our community.

Submit your survivor’s name, type of cancer and date of diagnosis to angie@gcevv.org or day-of registrations will be taken at the event.

Gilda’s Club Evansville is a free cancer support community for anyone living with cancer and their families and friends.  Gilda’s Club recognizes that social and emotional support are as essential as medical care when cancer is in the family and offers a variety of virtual workshops, classes, and support groups.
